DuPont Central Research&Development

In 1957, the research institution of DuPont's chemical department was renamed the Central Research Department. Since then, DuPont has become the leading scientific institution within the company and one of the most important industrial laboratories for basic science. It is primarily located at the DuPont Experimental Station and Chestnut Run in Wilmington, Delaware, and has now expanded to include laboratories in Geneva, Switzerland; Seoul, South Korea; Shanghai, China; and Hyderabad, India.
