DowElanco

DowElanco is a biotechnology and agribusiness company. DowElanco began in 1989 as a joint venture between Dow Chemical Company and Eli Lilly's plant science business. In 1997, Dow Chemical Company acquired Eli Lilly's interest and renamed it Dow AgroSciences in 1998. Since then, they have acquired Mycogen Seeds, Brazil Seeds, Cargill Hybrids, and Rohm and Haas' agricultural chemicals business.
