Dow AgroSciences

Dow AgroSciences was originally the plant science business of Dow Chemical Company. In 1989, it formed a joint venture with Eli Lilly and Company to create DowElanco. DowElanco focused on sustainable agriculture, merging Dow Chemical Company's key chemicals with Eli Lilly's agricultural division. It was committed to enhancing crop productivity through increased yields, improved varieties, and more targeted pest management control.
