DiaMed Holding AG, headquartered in Cressier FR, is an internationally active Swiss medical technology company specializing in the research and development, production, and service of laboratory diagnostics products. DiaMed focuses on test methods and product areas in immunohematology, hemostasis, platelets and platelet function, hematology, parasitology, infectious diseases, and veterinary diagnostics. The group has approximately 800 employees and achieved sales of 271 million Swiss francs in 2006. Since the end of 2007, the company has been majority-owned by Bio-Rad Laboratories, Inc. of the United States.
