DiaKine Therapeutics

DiaKine Therapeutics, Inc. is a development-stage company commercializing novel immunomodulators for the treatment of diabetes and related complications. These drugs have the potential to halt the progression of diabetes and reverse damage already caused by the disease. The therapies under development by DiaKine include: adjuvant treatment for islet cell transplantation (in Phase 2 clinical trials), halting the progression of newly diagnosed adult Type 1 diabetes, treating and preventing Latent Autoimmune Diabetes in Adults (LADA), treating and preventing insulin-requiring Type 2 diabetes, and treating and preventing diabetic complications. DiaKine acknowledges the National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases/National Institutes of Health (NIDDK/NIH) for producing clinical trial materials.
