Diacrin

As of August 21, 2003, Diacrin, Inc. was acquired by GenVec. Prior to this, Diacrin, Inc. focused on developing transplantable cells to treat human diseases characterized by cellular dysfunction or death, for which there are currently no available treatments. Products under development include treatments for neurological disorders, alcoholic hepatitis and cirrhosis, heart disease, and macular degeneration.
