Basic Information
Dexter Research Center was founded by Dr. Robert Toth in 1977. As a leading expert in thin films and materials that introduced low-cost, high-performance infrared sensing to the world, Bob believed: No other infrared strategy surpasses thermopiles as an affordable sensor, and as a means to optimize the performance, packaging, reliability, and durability of infrared sensors and detectors, there is no substitute for collaboration. Moreover, at the core of temperature sensors, motion sensors, smoke detectors, or motion detectors, the detector itself should be optimized for its task and not require workarounds to perform exceptionally.
