Detroit R&D, Inc. was founded in 1997 by Dr. Hyesook Kim with the mission of providing the highest quality products through cutting-edge technology and building trust with the research community. Detroit R&D has steadily established itself as a global source for innovative diagnostic and drug screening products. The Detroit R&D laboratories and offices are located in the heart of a new redevelopment zone in Detroit, Michigan. The original project of Detroit R&D aimed to develop simple and affordable hypertension kits for measuring novel fatty acid biomarkers in blood, urine, and tissues, which has now evolved into a company with expertise in the fields of hypertension, stroke, cardiovascular diseases, and diabetes.
