Cytocell is a leading provider of innovative genetic research solutions for the accurate detection of human genetic disorders in cytogenetics and cancer. The group’s CytoSure™ microarray products, Cytocell FISH probes, and SureSeq™ next-generation sequencing (NGS) products offer a complete solution for high-resolution genetic analysis. The Aquarius series consists of directly labeled FISH probes suitable for constitutional cytogenetics and oncology (pathology and hematology). All Aquarius probes are provided in hybridization solution form, ready to use or easily diluted with other conveniently provided hybridization solutions from the kit. Whole chromosome painting probes are available in 5-test formats, while microdeletion syndrome and hematology probes come in both economical 5-test and standard 10-test formats. Probes are accompanied by DAPI counterstain and full instructions for use, with hybridization solutions provided where applicable. The Chromoprobe Multiprobe® system is an extension of Cytocell's proprietary Chromoprobe® technology, whereby DNA FISH probes are reversibly bound to the surface of a glass device. Upon contact with hybridization buffer, the probes attached to the glass device dissolve back into solution, and once heated, denaturation of both the probe and target DNA occurs simultaneously under the device. This method simplifies the entire FISH procedure, making it safer and faster to use. The system allows multiple FISH probes to hybridize on the same slide in a spatially separated manner, enabling rapid screening of multiple DNA sequences in patient samples within a single FISH analysis. The assay is available in kits of 2, 5, 10, or 20 slides, including hybridization solution, counterstain, template slides, hybridization chambers, and full instructions for use. The kit also includes a unique LCD slide surface thermometer for accurate measurement of the denaturation surface temperature.
