Basic Information

Chrysalis BioTherapeutics, Inc. is a privately held biopharmaceutical company developing regenerative medicines that mimic the body's natural signaling to activate endothelial progenitor cells and stem cells, stimulating tissue repair and restoring normal tissue function. Chrysalis' lead drug candidate, TP508, was initially developed to accelerate the healing of skin and musculoskeletal injuries. It has proven particularly effective in early human clinical trials for promoting the healing of diabetic foot ulcers and is being developed as a treatment for mass casualty and burn injuries. Chrysalis has demonstrated that TP508 mitigates the effects of radiation exposure. As a result, Chrysalis is collaborating with U.S. government agencies to develop TP508 as a nuclear countermeasure against acute and delayed radiation syndromes.
