Cergentis is a biotechnology company focused on genomics and a leading provider of gene quality control solutions based on its proprietary Targeted Locus Amplification (TLA) technology platform. The company’s widely published and recognized genetic analyses support the characterization and quality control of genetically engineered (animal) models used by all leading pharmaceutical companies and research institutions, the development of biopharmaceutical cell lines, as well as cell and gene therapy products. By helping to reduce decision-making risks in R&D projects, shorten time-to-clinic, provide objective genomic evidence to regulatory authorities, and support patient safety, its goal is to support biopharmaceutical drug projects worldwide. Cergentis was founded in 2012 as a subsidiary of the Hubrecht Institute for Developmental Biology and Stem Cell Research and the Royal Netherlands Academy of Arts and Sciences (KNAW).
