Carmell Therapeutics is a Phase 2 regenerative medicine platform company that develops allogenic plasma-based biomaterials aimed at promoting innate regenerative pathways for various bone and soft tissue indications. Carmell has received U.S. FDA approval to conduct a Phase 2 clinical trial designed to study accelerated healing and infection reduction in open tibial (shinbone) fractures treated with intramedullary nailing. Carmell is expected to initiate a second Phase 2 trial for foot/ankle fusion.
