Cangene bioPharma is a contract manufacturer of sterile injectable products. It provides clinical and commercial manufacturing as well as lyophilization services; and product testing/stability testing, such as identification, in-process and final product testing. Formerly known as Chesapeake Biological Laboratories, it was renamed Cangene bioPharma in December 2009. The company, established in 1980, is headquartered in Baltimore, Maryland, the United States. Cangene bioPharma is a subsidiary of Emergent BioSolutions.
