Basic Information

New York Blood Center (NYBC) is one of the largest independent, community-based, nonprofit blood centers in the United States. Each year, NYBC provides approximately 1 million blood products to hundreds of hospitals across the Northeast region, helping to save the lives of cancer and surgical patients, accident and burn victims, individuals with AIDS and sickle cell anemia, transplant recipients, hemophilia patients, and many others.
