AZTherapies, Inc. is a privately-held, advanced clinical-stage pharmaceutical company developing breakthrough treatments for multiple neurodegenerative and neuroinflammatory-related central nervous system (CNS) disorders, including Alzheimer's disease (AD), ischemic stroke, and amyotrophic lateral sclerosis. AZTherapies' lead product (ALZT-OP1) is based on an extensive portfolio of intellectual property exclusively licensed from Harvard Medical School and Massachusetts General Hospital. It represents a novel, multifunctional combination drug therapy designed to alter disease progression by slowing or halting Alzheimer’s disease early in its development. ALZT-OP1 is currently undergoing Phase III studies in patients under a Special Protocol Assessment (SPA) by the FDA.
