Axis Biotec Brasil is a holding company that sponsors and manages research, development, and innovation businesses in the health and life fields. With strong expertise in R&D, sales, and marketing, over the past 30 years, the group's companies have successfully transformed research into innovative products and services in the healthcare sector. Today, Axis Biotec is the major shareholder of four companies in Brazil: Silvestre Labs (a pharmaceutical company), Cryopraxis (a long-term biobank for biological materials), CellPraxis (a bioengineering company focused on regenerative medicine and cell therapy), and PharmaPraxis (a biopharmaceutical company). These companies are located in the biotechnology development park in Rio de Janeiro, directly employing more than 200 professionals and involving an additional 500 professionals in various projects.
