Aurum Biosciences Ltd is a biopharmaceutical company developing novel oxygen carriers and proprietary software for use with MRI, initially for Acute Ischemic Stroke (AIS). Follow-on indications include heart disease, cancer, epilepsy, and dementia. Aurum is currently advancing its stroke management product (“GOLD”) through preclinical development and clinical studies for efficacy and safety.Aurum has developed novel drugs for clinical indications addressing a wide range of medical needs. Aurum is currently completing preclinical development of its stroke management product ABL101 and plans to initiate clinical studies for efficacy and safety in the near future. Follow-on plans include products for heart disease, cancer, epilepsy, and dementia. Aurum’s lead program utilizes oxygen carriers and proprietary software for use with MRI in acute ischemic stroke. Aurum has secured funding to initiate recruitment for a Phase 2 clinical study in stroke patients.
