Aurobindo Pharma

Aurobindo Pharma was founded in 1986 by Mr. PV Ramaprasad Reddy, Mr. K. Nityananda Reddy, and a small group of highly dedicated professionals. It began operations in 1988-1989 with a unit in Pondicherry manufacturing semi-synthetic penicillins (SSP). In addition to being a market leader in semi-synthetic penicillins, it also holds a significant position in key therapeutic areas such as neuroscience, cardiovascular, and antiretroviral drugs.
