Auria Biobank

Auria Biobank is the first biobank in Finland. The sample collection of the biobank contains approximately one million samples for medical research.Auria Biobank is located in Turku, Teks, and the University of Turku. Auria Biobank was jointly established by the University of Turku and the Southwest Finland Hospital District, Satakunta, and Vaasa. The biobank was founded in 2012 and authorized by the National Institute for Health and Welfare (Valvira) in the spring of 2014.
