Basic Information

Boston Biomedical, founded in 2006, has become a leader in the treatment field over the past 12 years, focusing on inhibiting cancer stem pathways. Today, the company remains at the forefront of research and development in this area, utilizing multiple compounds in phase 2/3 clinical trials and early pipelines. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has granted three orphan drug designations for two of the company’s compounds: napabucasin, an investigational oral drug for inhibiting cancer stem pathways in the treatment of pancreatic cancer, and DSP-7888, an investigational cancer peptide vaccine for treating brain cancer and myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS).
