BlinkBio is a biotechnology company developing bioorthogonal linker ("BLink") chemistry through its Tunable Drug Conjugates (TDCs) platform for the treatment of cancer and other diseases. The development of antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs) and small molecule drug conjugates (SMDCs) has made a valuable contribution to cancer therapy by enabling the targeted delivery of "payloads" within cancer cells. However, there is still room for improvement. For example, ADCs can remain in the body for many days, necessitating stable linkers to limit the toxic side effects of systemic payload release. Additionally, there are some challenges in manufacturing multi-payload SMDCs.
