Bioptigen Inc. is an ISO 13485 certified medical device company dedicated to developing innovative ophthalmic imaging solutions. Bioptigen's Envisu (tm) R-Class systems are well-suited for non-invasive ophthalmic imaging of animals ranging from zebrafish to elephants. Envisu uses low-power, near-infrared light to generate real-time, high-resolution, volumetric images of ocular microstructures from the cornea to the retina. Bioptigen has obtained CE certification, allowing it to sell the handheld Envisu R2000 system for preclinical use and the C2000 system for clinical use in the European Union.
