Nanology Labs is developing Mangan®, a new therapeutic agent (MRI contrast agent/radiosensitizer) that allows for the early detection of brain tumors using magnetic resonance imaging. It also sensitizes cancer cells, thereby enhancing the effectiveness of radiotherapy. This contrast agent is three times more sensitive than current gadolinium-based contrast agents (GBCAs), can cross the blood-brain barrier, and enables the early, precise detection and targeted treatment of brain cancer.
