Curileum is a biotechnology company based in London that focuses on the development of early interventions for severe gastrointestinal diseases. We have discovered new therapeutic approaches to correct cell generation in the continuously regenerating intestinal mucosal barrier. We target the root cause of the disease rather than treating the chronic inflammation that leads to IBD or CRC tumors. By pharmacologically altering cell generation at the stem cell or progenitor cell stage, our approach aims to suppress chronic inflammation, thereby promoting the healing of the intestinal barrier in IBD and eliminating tumorigenic cells at an early stage.
