Aphea.Bio is utilizing natural microorganisms to enhance crop yields in a sustainable manner and protect them from specific fungal diseases. So far, Aphea.Bio has been dedicated to developing biostimulants and biocontrol products based on microbial strains. With the support of a VLAIO grant, Aphea.Bio will collaborate with top research partners from Ghent University (Department of Applied Biosciences) and KU Leuven (Fungal Biology Laboratory) to expand its interest in the microbial field to include fungal microorganisms.
