We base our work on validated, independent scientific research and believe it is our responsibility to educate eye care professionals and AMD patients about the latest developments in the evolving science of AMD and human genetics. ArcticDx has no affiliation with vitamin manufacturers or AREDS formula developers, ensuring a balanced, evidence-based approach to AMD management. We have discovered a method to determine which AMD patients are harmed by zinc supplements, a method recognized by a patent granted by the United States Patent and Trademark Office and validated by the New York State Clinical Laboratory Evaluation Program.
