ARCEDI Biotech is a Danish biotechnology company involved in the development of cell-based non-invasive prenatal diagnostic technology (cbNIPD). ARCEDI stands for "Advanced Rare Cell Diagnostics." ARCEDI Biotech possesses proprietary methods to efficiently enrich fetal cells from circulating maternal blood. Once enriched, the fetal cells can be used for downstream analysis using technologies such as FISH, array CGH, next-generation sequencing, etc., to detect chromosomal and sub-chromosomal changes in the fetal genome.
