Animas Corporation

Animas Corporation is an American company specializing in the production of insulin pumps for diabetes patients. Founded in 1996, the company went public in May 2004 and was eventually acquired by Johnson & Johnson on February 18, 2006. Headquartered in West Chester, Pennsylvania, Animas Corporation is part of Johnson & Johnson's diabetes franchise, working alongside Lifescan and several other companies to manufacture medical products for the treatment and management of diabetes.
