OMC manufactures and sells medical suction and oxygen therapy ("SOT") products and source equipment ("Systems"). SOT products include branded suction/vacuum regulators, flowmeters, and medical gas hoses; Systems include medical gas pipelines, services, and source equipment. The company is headquartered in Gurnee, Illinois, with two manufacturing plants in Gurnee and Toronto, Canada, and a sales office in Madison, Wisconsin, employing approximately 250 people. OMC was originally founded in 1910 in Cleveland, Ohio, and produced its first vacuum regulator under the Ohio Medical brand name in 1950.
