Amryt Pharma is a specialty pharmaceutical company focused on developing and delivering innovative new treatments to help improve the lives of patients with rare and orphan diseases. Amryt's lead product, Episalvan, received marketing authorization from the European Commission for the treatment of partial thickness wounds in January 2016. Amryt intends to further develop Episalvan as a new therapy for a genetic skin disorder named Epidermolysis Bullosa in Europe and the United States. Amryt’s earlier-stage products focus on developing novel next-generation somatostatin analogue (“SSA”) peptide therapeutics for patients with rare neuroendocrine disorders.
