Amphora Research Systems initially helped scientists replace their Bound Laboratory Notebook with something more suited to the digital age. In retrospect, this was one of the most challenging records to transition; this is why many scientists still use Paper Lab Notebooks. Fortunately, in an industry that has seen many failures, they managed to challenge the status quo and truly thrive. Their approach seemed controversial in the 90s but appears to be exactly what the market needed. Since then, they have gained experience in the broader commercial documentation field for R&D teams.
