amcure

amcure is a spin-off from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology and has developed AM001 as a first-in-class compound. The mode of action of AM001 fundamentally differs from known experimental or approved compounds in inhibiting angiogenesis and metastasis in cancer treatment, which in most cases either target a single RTK or act as broadband inhibitors targeting multiple RTKs. With its novel targeting strategy, AM001 combines the advantages of receptor specificity and broadband inhibition. The application area of AM001 will be highly metastatic cancer types, with a focus on pancreatic cancer.
