TissueTech, founded in 2001, is the parent company of Bio-Tissue Inc., which develops and markets regenerative therapies for ocular surface treatment. In 1997, Bio-Tissue became the first company to clinically use cryopreserved amniotic membrane tissue, utilizing its proprietary CryoTek technology, which has been proven to preserve the inherent biological and structural properties of the amniotic membrane.
