Alpha Orthotics Corporation

Alpha Orthotics Corp. is a subsidiary of Hallufix GmbH, based in Munich, Germany. Through the collaboration of orthopedic surgeons, orthopedic technicians, and scientists, Hallufix introduced its flagship product, the Hallufix Bunion Splint, to Europe in 2006. Alpha Orthotics Corp. brought the splint to the United States and Canada in 2008 under the name BunionAid®. This flexible, hinged bunion splint has received international patents and won the 2009 Medical Design Excellence Award in the United States as well as the international Red Dot Award.
