Achira Labs is an immunodiagnostics company focused on developing point-of-care diagnostic solutions for developing countries. Achira's ACIX100 is a microfluidic platform that combines plastic disposable cartridges containing dry reagents with a desktop reader instrument. The rapid turnaround time, low cost, and minimal infrastructure and manpower requirements of the ACIX100 make it highly suitable for rural and semi-urban areas that are underserved by large centralized diagnostic laboratories. The ACIX100 has been clinically validated for seven tests related to thyroid and fertility, as well as for a wide range of tests including infectious diseases currently under development.
