Circassia is a specialty biopharmaceutical company focused on allergy and respiratory diseases. Our growing commercial organization promotes our innovative asthma management products directly to specialists, and we have a broad pipeline of treatments for allergies, asthma, and COPD in development. Our novel, market-leading NIOX® products are used by allergy/asthma specialists worldwide to help with asthma diagnosis and management. We sell NIOX® directly in the U.S. and Germany and plan to expand our geographic reach in the near future. Our NIOX® products are also available in many other countries through our network of international partners. Our development pipeline includes a range of allergy treatments. Our immunotherapy for cat allergy recently completed Phase III studies and is the first in a new class of treatments known as Synthetic Peptide Immuno-Regulatory Epitopes (SPIRE). Our other three SPIREs, targeting house dust mite, ragweed, and grass allergies, have completed Phase IIb clinical proof-of-concept studies. Our lead asthma product, which aims to replace GSK’s Flixotide® pMDI, was recently approved in the UK under the European Decentralized Procedure. For direct replacements of Serevent® pMDI and Seretide® pMDI, we expect to file two additional regulatory approval documents by the end of 2017. We are also developing several new therapies for chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), including an inhaled fixed-dose "triple" combination of corticosteroid, long-acting beta agonist, and long-acting muscarinic antagonist.
