Adrenomed AG is a privately financed clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company with a clear mission: to develop precision medicine to preserve vascular integrity and save the lives of critically ill patients with limited treatment options. The company’s lead candidate is Adrecizumab, a first-in-class monoclonal antibody in clinical development. Adrecizumab targets the vasoprotective peptide adrenomedullin, a key regulator of vascular integrity, for the treatment of life-threatening conditions associated with vascular leakage, congestion, and increased shock. Our primary indication currently is sepsis and septic shock. We translate the concept of precision medicine into acute care. Our biomarker-guided approach enables us to identify patients with loss of vascular integrity as a potential pathophysiological disease mechanism and treat those most likely to benefit from Adrecizumab therapy.
