Symic Biomedical

Symic Bio, Inc. was founded in 2012 in Emeryville, California, as a biopharmaceutical company developing novel matrix-targeted therapies. Matrix-targeted therapy is a new type of treatment focused on matrix biology. Symic Bio currently has two clinical candidates: SB-061, aimed at disease modification and pain management in osteoarthritis treatment; and SB-030, aimed at preventing peripheral vein graft failure. Additionally, Symic Bio is exploring the application of SB-030 in disease areas such as fibrosis, oncology, and the central nervous system.
