Basic Information
HUANOVA, addressing the significant clinical need for human trauma repair and organ regeneration, focuses on the research, development, production, promotion, and sales of implantable biomedical material-based medical device consumables. The company aims to become a developer of cutting-edge regenerative medicine products and technologies with proprietary intellectual property rights, leading domestically and aligning with international standards. The founder of the team, Dr. Wang, holds dual doctorates in engineering and medicine. He is a national "Young Thousand Talents" awardee, a Dutch Rubicon Young Scholar, a postdoctoral fellow from Harvard University, and has over 8 years of overseas study and work experience. The core team comprises highly skilled returned overseas talents with doctoral degrees from prestigious universities abroad as the technical backbone, supported by senior management personnel with extensive production and management experience in China’s biopharmaceutical industry. Each member brings unique expertise, ensuring clear roles and responsibilities. The company's core technology lies in the proprietary development and industrial-scale production of self-healing gel metamaterials. Based on this platform technology, HUANOVA develops minimally invasive, precise, and intelligent self-healing hydrogel products capable of controlled drug release and injection, applicable across five key areas: bone trauma repair, aesthetic tissue filling, oral restoration, skin wound healing, and 3D bioprinting. Currently, the company has successfully completed early-stage R&D for two series of Class III medical devices: 1) injectable hemostatic gels and powders for surgical bleeding control; 2) anti-inflammatory and filler gels for periodontal treatment in clinical dentistry. To date, HUANOVA owns more than 10 intellectual property rights, including three authorized international and domestic patents and over 10 pending patent applications. Its main products compete with leading clinical products from global medical device giants such as Johnson & Johnson, Medtronic, and Baxter. Preliminary physicochemical performance tests and animal experiments have confirmed that HUANOVA’s products significantly outperform these imported monopolistic products currently dominating China’s clinical market, offering superior performance at a competitive price. This positions them for broader clinical adoption and enhanced therapeutic outcomes. Additionally, the team is actively developing minimally invasive, injectable gel products for orthopedic trauma repair and cosmetic surgery.
