Mosa Meat

Mosa Meat created the world's first clean meat hamburger in 2013 with CSO Mark Post. Priced at 250,000 euros, the hamburger was funded by Google co-founder Sergey Brin. Since then, product development has included adding myoglobin (the red color of meat), incorporating fat tissue, developing a culture medium free of fetal bovine serum (FBS), and designing bioprocessing techniques scalable to industrial volumes. Production methods are currently being expanded in preparation for commercial introduction.
