Cynata Therapeutics Ltd is an Australian stem cell and regenerative medicine company developing a therapeutic stem cell platform technology called Cymerus™. Cynata's Cymerus™ platform stem cell technology is based on a highly significant and versatile type of stem cell known as mesenchymoangioblasts (MCA). MCAs are precursors to mesenchymal stem (or stromal) cells (MSCs) and are at the forefront of a new generation of treatments being researched for debilitating diseases such as osteoarthritis, Crohn's disease, and heart disease.
