Hookipa is a clinical-stage biotechnology company developing first-class novel immunotherapies for infectious diseases and oncology. Hookipa's TheraT® and Vaxwave® platforms have demonstrated promising capabilities to elicit high neutralizing antibody responses, as well as the necessary levels of T-cell responses, which are currently absent in most vaccines and treatments. Our leading infectious disease candidate, HB-101, is a non-replicating preventive cytomegalovirus (CMV) vaccine candidate currently undergoing Phase 2 clinical trials in CMV-negative patients awaiting kidney transplants from living CMV-positive donors, as well as in CMV-positive patients awaiting kidney transplants from either CMV-positive or CMV-negative donors.
