Basic Information
CTRL-Labs is a U.S.-based brain-computer interface R&D service provider. The company primarily intercepts signals close to the output point through lightweight skin-contact sensors and wirelessly transmits the information to PCs and smartphones via Bluetooth. Developers can map the position and motion input of each finger and joint based on the intercepted signals. CTRL-Labs is mainly focused on developing the next generation of neural interfaces for AR/VR and robotics. CTRL-labs offers a brain-control interface similar to companies like Neurable. Instead of using headset EEG sensors to read brainwaves, their lightweight skin-contact sensors intercept signals near the output point and transmit the information wirelessly to PCs and smartphones via Bluetooth. This is somewhat akin to wiretapping the central nervous system.
