TRiCares is a professional medical device company located in Paris, France, and Munich, Germany. Its vision is to bring the transcatheter tricuspid valve replacement system (TTVR) to market. The TTVR system is designed to help patients with severe tricuspid regurgitation (TR) without the need for open-heart surgery. With a unique dual-stent design, the company is able to produce two sizes of valves, both compatible with a low-profile catheter system. This catheter system is inserted through the femoral vein and delivers the prosthesis to the right side of the heart, where it is ultimately deployed to replace the diseased tricuspid valve. This user-friendly implantation technology can also treat critically ill patients. The company is currently conducting clinical trials in the United States, Canada, and several European countries.
