Loop Genomics is a platform technology for long-read DNA sequencing. Loop Genomics technology converts short-read DNA sequences into high-throughput, long-read, single-molecule DNA sequencers. The Loop Genomics long-read DNA sequencing technology provides phased sequencing solutions for various research and clinical applications.Sequencing partial rRNA gene sequences leads to reduced phylogenetic resolution. Full-length coverage of all 16S variable regions with high-throughput, phased sequencing is becoming the gold standard for microbiome analysis. Long-read, next-generation sequencing of microbiomes enables the highest resolution analysis of microbial communities. Characterizing polymorphisms in HLA genes both inside and outside protein-coding regions is important for organ transplant compatibility testing and strengthening causal association studies. The length of homologous sequences between HLA alleles exceeds the capabilities of short-read sequencing platforms, resulting in diploid ambiguity and reliance on imputation. Viral genetic variability is a major determinant of viral drug resistance and vaccine efficacy. Accurately mapping viral genetic variability is a key step in selecting optimal treatment courses and developing effective vaccines. Critical mutations are often located in long viral genomes, making it challenging to retrieve phased data using short-read sequencing technologies. Using phased, high-throughput DNA sequencing technology to map critical mutations at the quasispecies level and generate complete phased maps of viral populations.
