Basic Information
NapaJen Pharma, Inc. was founded in 2004 as a clinical-stage biotherapeutics company developing novel immunotherapeutic agents using its proprietary immune cell-targeting oligonucleotide delivery technology. NapaJen has developed a proprietary platform technology that enables the stable and selective delivery of oligonucleotide compounds to immune cells. NJA-730 is a novel immunosuppressive therapeutic agent combining anti-CD40 small interfering RNA (siRNA) with the company’s β-glucan delivery technology. The primary objective of this study is to evaluate the safety and tolerability of intravenously administered NJA-730. Key secondary objectives will include assessing the pharmacokinetic profile of the compound. Researchers will also evaluate the effect of NJA-730 on CD40 gene suppression.
