Camras Vision is a medical device company that has launched the first glaucoma therapy which not only avoids complications associated with glaucoma surgery, but also provides ophthalmologists with the first tool capable of halting glaucoma progression. The Camras device was developed by the late Carl Camras and his daughter Lucinda Camras. Carl was a world-renowned glaucoma researcher and surgeon, and one of the creators of the leading glaucoma drug treatment, latanoprost. Inspired by the surgical complications he observed in patients and the limitations of drug treatments, he innovated on ocular surface drainage, achieving significant success. Camras Vision holds a series of patents in China and possesses numerous patents worldwide.
