BG Medicine is developing molecular diagnostic tests based on biomarkers, aiming to provide doctors with information to improve patient treatment decisions. Our molecular diagnostic tests are designed to predict patients' responses to drug therapies, determine the potential toxicity of therapeutic drugs for patients, identify patients who have or may develop specific diseases, predict patients' prognoses after disease diagnosis, and monitor patients' disease progression or drug responses. Our patented technology platform serves as a discovery engine, enabling us to identify new biomarkers through the integration and automation of measurement, analysis, characterization, and interpretation of proteins and small non-protein biomolecules or metabolites collected from bodily fluids. We have created a broad pipeline of product candidates, focusing on cardiovascular diseases, cancer, and central nervous system disorders.
