Adaptimmune

Adaptimmune is a leader in the TCR T-cell therapy field, focusing on designing and delivering novel cancer immunotherapy products. We utilize the body's own mechanism—T cells—to target and destroy cancer cells. We believe our therapies have the potential to significantly impact cancer treatment and clinical outcomes for cancer patients. We have developed a proprietary T-cell receptor (TCR) platform that enables us to identify cancer targets and discover and genetically engineer TCRs to recognize and attack these targets. We design patients' own T cells to express these affinity-enhanced TCRs, creating TCR T-cell therapies, which we call SPEAR (Specific Peptide Enhanced Affinity Receptor) T-cell therapies. We plan to submit our first Biologics License Application (BLA) by the end of 2022 for the treatment of patients with synovial sarcoma.
