Opiant is a pharmaceutical company with the mission to create best-in-class medicines for treating addiction and drug overdose. In 2013, Opiant developed the first FDA-approved, user-friendly intranasal naloxone spray. In 2015, the product, NARCAN® Nasal Spray 4mg, was launched in the U.S. and Canada through our commercial partner Adapt Pharma (now part of Emergent BioSolutions). Opiant is now focused on advancing its pipeline while earning royalties from NARCAN® Nasal Spray. In addition to NARCAN® Nasal Spray, we are also developing treatments for addiction and drug overdose.
